Ashley B. Saunders, DVM, Diplomate ACVIM

Dr. Ashley Saunders is an Associate Professor of Cardiology at Texas A&M University and a native Texan. She is board certified in the specialty of cardiology by the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine and is a fellow of the Michael E. DeBakey Institute for Comparative Cardiovascular Science and Biomedical Devices. She joined the faculty in the College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences at Texas A&M University in 2005. Dr. Saunders has numerous publications in the areas of congenital heart disease, interventional cardiology, and heart failure management. She serves as an editor for the Journal of Veterinary Cardiology and has won multiple teaching awards including the Texas A&M Association of Former Students University-Level Distinguished Achievement Award in Teaching.
