CCVMA May 2, 2023 CE Meeting

The May 2, 2023 meeting will feature Jessica Cohen, DVM, Board Certified Theriogenologists. She will present on "Considerations for the timing of spay and neuter." This meeting is sponsored by RooVet 


As a Diplomate of the American College of Theriogenologists, Dr. Cohen is board certified in animal reproduction and obstetrics. She has extensive experience breeding both large and small animals including horses, show dogs and pets. Dr. Cohen is a graduate of Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences. Following graduation she went on to complete a 1 year Internship at The 6666 Ranch in Guthrie Tx. She then continued her education by completing a 3 year Residency at Oklahoma State University. Dr. Cohen values educational opportunities and enjoys lecturing at universities, as well as for continuing education.


Dr. Cohen is passionate about creating the healthiest and happiest animals possible. She has had a life long fascination with purpose bred animals and how that shapes them as individuals. She strives to support responsible breeding practices through education and discussion.

In her spare time Dr. Cohen can be found spending time with her family. She enjoys reading, photography, and her children. She is an active, though not very successful, gardener.

$35 for non-members- DVM

$15 for staff

No additional fee for CCVMA annual members
