The November 7, 2023 meeting will feature Jennifer J. Rich, DVM, Diplomate, ACVIM (Neurology) & Arielle Ostrager, DVM, Residency Trained Veterinary Neurology. They will present on "More Drugs!: Acute and chronic seizure management & another Topic to be announced." This meeting is sponsored by Medvet 


Bio: Dr. Jennifer Rich 

Jennifer J. Rich, DVM, Diplomate, ACVIM (Neurology), is a Board-Certified Veterinary Neurologist at MedVet Dallas where she has been a part of the medical team since 2017. Dr. Rich studied Biomedical Science at Texas A&M University before transferring to Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine where she completed her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree. Following her graduation from veterinary school, Dr. Jennifer Rich completed a yearlong rotating internship in small animal medicine and surgery at SouthPaws Veterinary Specialists and Emergency Center. She then went on to complete a three-year residency in neurology and neurosurgery at Mississippi State University College of Veterinary Medicine.

Although Dr. Jennifer Rich maintains an interest in all aspects of small animal neurology, she is particularly passionate about advanced neurosurgical procedures, including spinal stabilization and foramen magnum decompression. Dr. Rich’s favorite part of being a veterinarian is the opportunity to get to know her patients’ owners and to help them become an integral part of their pet’s recovery process.

When not caring for patients, Dr. Rich enjoys salsa dancing, SUP boarding with her dogs, and discovering hidden jazz venues.


Bio: Dr. Arielle Ostrager

Arielle Ostrager, VMD, is residency trained in Veterinary Neurology. She joined the MedVet Dallas team in 2023.

Dr. Ostrager attended the University of Rochester where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. She then earned a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine. Following earning her veterinary degree, Dr. Ostrager completed a small animal medicine and surgery internship at BluePearl Veterinary Specialists New York, two neurology internships at VCA Animal Specialty Center and VCA Animal Specialty Group, and a residency at Purdue University College of Veterinary Medicine.

Dr. Ostrager has a special interest in neurosurgery and autoimmune diseases. Her favorite part of veterinary medicine is helping families make informed decisions and seeing dogs walk again. She joined MedVet to pursue her passion for veterinary medicine amongst a group of dedicated veterinarians.

In her spare time, Dr. Arielle Ostrager enjoys taking dance classes and being outdoors.

$35 for non-members- DVM

$15 for staff
