The March 5, 2024 meeting will feature Stephanie Beaumont, DVM, DACVO. She will present on "Pearls of Practice: Practical ophthalmology tips for everyday practice." This meeting is sponsored by RooVet and Elanco Animal Health.
Bio: Dr. Stephanie Beaumont is a native of Jackson, Mississippi and graduated from Mississippi State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1998. She completed a one year small animal rotating medicine and surgery internship at Oklahoma State University in 1999 followed by a one year ophthalmology internship in private practice in Jacksonville, Florida. She then moved to California and successfully completed a three year residency in comparative ophthalmology at the University of California in Davis and became board certified by the American College of Veterinary Ophthalmologists in 2003.
Dr. Beaumont has specialized in veterinary ophthalmology for almost 20 years and has practiced in Wisconsin, Illinois, and Texas. She has received grants for research, has authored scientific articles in several veterinary journals and has presented at national and local veterinary meetings. Dr. Beaumont attends continuing education courses and meetings annually to stay current in the latest developments in her field.
